Science and technology are key to the formation of quality policy. The JRC's scientific work supports EU policies in a variety of areas from agriculture and food security, to environment and climate change, as well as nuclear safety and security and innovation and growth.
At JRC, activities are clustered into 10 scientific areas, which provide an overview of the research carried out in these fields.
